There are two sides to every war, of course, and so each side has their own heroes. An enemy to some, a hero to others... and yet they move selfishly forward, to create more land, gain more power, earn more wealth, under the guise of this noble defense. For the people.
I'm only saying that it's interesting they'd be hailed as such when their enemies are brought down for the same actions.

None of those are heroes. To wish for wealth, for power, to go out of one's way in order to slaughter the lives of those who do them no harm. Those are not worth being called heroes, nor should they be.
A hero is supposed to be generous to their people, a reliable person who they can support and feel at ease about. Kind, understanding... charitable. If their hands are dirtied with blood, it should be a rightful murder.
As I have mentioned before, any who threaten that lifestyle is considered an enemy. They should never be allowed to use the banner of justice to mask their groundless behavior.

That's why not all can be a true hero. It is something of heavy responsibility, that only few can be truly be seen as such.
If a 'hero', for even a moment, falls victim to selfishness, then how can they truly protect all equally, when their desire is to prioritize one over the others?
Selfishness. Greed. Envy, and jealousy. These kind of feelings have no place inside a hero's heart. If they cannot be equal to all, they should not be respected and seen as someone who holds the life of many others in their hands.
And please, do not put words in my mouth.
I do not consider them monsters. It is natural of humans to wish fall victim to negative feelings, and stray from the path of justice. They are not expected to be perfectly rightful.
However, once they threaten the peaceful life of others, they become enemies. Nothing other than that.

Likewise, I am aware that our worlds might not be the same, but the Gods from whence I came do not engage in murder. They hold an even heavier responsibility to their people and the world on their shoulders, after all. In the case that a God engages into 'evil' acts, they are often subdued and watched over.

I am one of India's greatest heroes, after all. If you believe my words or behavior to be unbefitting of a hero, then I would be willing to revise those.
